Can VR Really Make You More Empathetic? by Sarah Zhang
The most compelling use case of VR for learning is the ability for virtual reality to put someone into a different place. While most of the use cases explore that idea of place literally – such as taking a virtual field trip to the Great Wall of China – another less-literal example of place is to put the learner into someone else’s shoes. That’s what this article is exploring, as it examines the ability of VR to teach empathy by creating VR programs that enable people to participate in an experience from another person’s point of view. -David Kelly
